My First!!!

Hello World; my name is Bronwyn and I am actually typing this as my very own first posting. Having only just found the land of Blog, I am quite addicted to keeping an eye of other people's life. I don't remember how I stumbled onto someone's blog, but somehow, it happened, and the endless, mind swirling possibilities of exploring more and more blogs, gathered me up in its whirlwind and swept me away!

Just in case you are reading this and wondering 'but what's your take on life?' -this blog is mainly a record of my crafty endeavours, with touches of life as we know it, in wonderful Melbourne, Australia. Quilting, sewing, kids projects, school stuff, lots of other interesting (to me) quirks. I really enjoy going through my long and growing list of others sites to see what have they made, or to see snow covering their world while we swelter in 39C (over 100F), with water restrictions (drought).

I thought over my blog title for days, in conjunction with the possibility of having my own blog (scary!), and decided that our family dog, Pippi Longstocking (Pippi for short), an adorable 'Good' Whippet, would be my inspiration (as well as the family joke of Devo's song - Whip It Good!) Pippi Longstocking (the original) by Astrid Lindgren was one of my favs, growing up; I loved that she was the strongest girl in the world, and had a horse (my dream) which she carried!!! and lived a free life -great character!

I'm not the greatest writer in the world - 'word struggle' is one of my middle names, but once I get proficient with photos, my blog will look great and hopefully, you will come back to see how I'm going with my many UFO's, as well as how my world looks through the windows.

I would love to hear from anyone, about anything! Anything!!! Does that sound desperate - well, it is, maybe a little? No, I'm not desperate for my words and pictures to be read and absorbed and be validated, just documented for my own record, and maybe something somewhere might lighten someone else's day and give you a Whippetly Good feeling!
