Yummy Yummy

To celebrate my 200th post which is about to arrive I would like to show you some goodies from my overwhelming stash of bits and bobs, which I would love love love to give to someone.

Some fat quarters of vintage fabric - all cotton, all pre-loved, not sure how many yet, lets see how generous I feel at the time - you could get lucky!

Some applique packs that have not be opened by moi, so I hope someone else will use them;

Last but not least: some charm squares of Moda's  Woodland Bloom - very pretty pink, raspberry, teal and grass green colours - super duper cute!

What I would like to know from you guys is what is in your stash that you once loved but could not see yourself using again - and maybe could give away?

Comment here and I will do the random generator thingy by the close of business (ie when I go to bed) Sunday 2nd November.  It's a quickie, but a goodie! Of course, All Are Welcome!

I thought this would be tricky but having given it two minutes thought it became obvious. Beads!

I am over beads. I have lots of them and while some are beautiful I don't really do the making jewellery thing anymore.

Does it count as getting rid of them if Princess Curly-Wurly is being allowed to have a necklace making party???

Hmm..good question! I too have lots of beads but I can't part with them, I still see lots of bracelets I would love to make so I would have to say 1.crazypatchwork fabrics, silks, velvets etc, 2. patterns I won't ever use 3. country fabrics.

I have heaps of fabric I could and should get rid of. I'm just about to get a new cupboard to put all my fabrics in and I think it is high time I send some of the stash on its way to a new home. I guess that will make room for some more!!!

Well done on 200 posts!! I went through a "country" phase when i first started to quilt - I am no longer as fond of those colours/prints anymore.

I don't think there is much in my fabric stash that I could part with....you just never know when you might need it!! But I'm sure the box of Folk Art stuff still there from about 15 years ago could be tossed!

Hmm, have been thinking about all that fabric still waiting to be used, I think it would be some of the florals and a few country-christmas styled fabrics that would be the first to leave the stash :) Well done on your 200 posts. Hugs Jx

Isn't it funny - one persons trash is anothers treasure! Sewjourn mentioned tossing out her folk art - which is something I'm sooo into right now!!!

I have quite a collection of beads as well which could go to a new home.

Hmm, giving away part of my stash has been on my mind recently. I bought several novelty prints when I first started quilting, and I think they would be the first to go. And the country stuff, if it's not really well designed.

What a good idea. You made me think. I guess it would be the older fabric I bought when I first started quilting. It really isn't very good.

Congrats on 200 posts! I have destashed many times, but I still have five metres of peachy pinky silk. It's more salmon-- or is it -- eek. Lovely fabric, too expensive to throw away, but the colour is the worst in the world on my skin. Need to make someone else happy with it!

Hi! Congratulations on 200 blog posts, & for winning the Sewjourn giveaway - like my blog partner Kylie :)
I packed up my craft room recently to shift house & came across some polyester lace that I don't think I will be using in a hurry.
Blessings
