I also download my photos from FLICKR onto my blog, here's how I do it... Open flickr, click on the photo you want (so it's larger on the screen).. Right click and find properties. YOu'll find the URL of your photo, copy this (ctrl-C). Go into blogger. select add a picture. Rather than searching by folders, just past the URL. Then repeat a number of times to add new photos..
